Where the two intersect is the metamorphosis, or the transformation point - a messy but exciting time, and exactly where this work happens: your inflexion point.

 

Packages

Four ways to work together:

BRONZE

Annual access to the MC² coaching platform and well-being network. Designed for those who want to stay connected, share their journey, and benefit from the broader community.

SILVER

6 sessions of coaching, usually over 3 months. Aimed at initiating meaningful change in your life path.

GOLD

Monthly coaching amounting to 25 hours over a 12-month period, with continuous support. Aimed at significant transformation in your life path.

PLATINUM

Bi-monthly coaching with continuous support over a 12-month period, including an annual 5-night residential at Matt's home, Edge of the World, in the South of New Zealand.

What Does Coaching Involve?

A great coach is somewhat like a shepherd - guiding the coachee toward their own results, rather than lecturing or advising. Co-Active Coaching shaped my training, and the International Coaching Federation (ICF) framework is next. Thousands of global HR leaders have been coached along the way, through past work, and the style that's earned trust is one built on a long-term perspective.

Who I Am

I'm a Senior Well-Being Coach, operating worldwide. My work is with exceptional humans who have, or will have, significant positive influence over vast numbers of people.

The MC² Network

MC² is the global well-being network I've built to connect incredible people across professions, industries, ages, and countries - and at the heart of it sits a deep bench of well-being coaches and emotionally intelligent people I trust. I've also built a digital well-being platform, where network members enter their Life 2 journeys and are connected with others as the network evolves.

From Australia to Edge of the World

Born in Australia, with stops in Singapore, Japan, and Canada along the way, before settling in the south of New Zealand at Edge of the World. Ultra-distance running and the well-being field are lasting passions - most of all, the ongoing work of refining my own habits and energy so I can help others reach their potential.

Before Coaching

Accountancy and Deloitte came first, before recruitment and search took over - Morgan & Banks, then Hudson Global Resources. In 2008, ChapmanCG was born, a global HR search firm that became No. 1 in its space. When the trajectory started to compromise my own well-being, ChapmanCG was sold to Japanese-listed Will Group between 2019 and 2022. Alongside that, Ethos BeathChapman (global generalist recruitment) and Risk Management Intelligence (background checking) took shape, and Bawah Reserve - a luxury archipelago in Indonesia's Anambas Islands - was co-created with Tim Hartnoll.

Finding Life 2

A trip to New Zealand for two close friends' wedding sparked a fascination with the country, and led to buying Parihoa Farm, one of NZ's most remarkable properties. From 2013 until the ChapmanCG exit in 2022, it was transformed from a working farm into a well-being platform. At the same time, Edge of the World took shape - my own well-being property in the South of New Zealand. Life 2, for me, means living my best life around my own well-being while being the best coach I can be for my network.

Burnout Taught Me This

Between 2020 and 2024, burnout took hold - a period that meant stepping back from most projects to take a real break. That time went into re-tuning my own purpose and rediscovering joy, and it's a process I credit for sharpening my ability to guide others through their own transformational change.
